Owner Emily Strongin is an animal end-of-life doula with over 20 years of experience in pet care and animal welfare. She also has 10 years of non-profit leadership, teaching experience and has dedicated her career to educating others about compassionate animal care and how to be stewards of the environment. Emily is a graduate of the UVM Companion Animal End-of-Life Professional Certificate Program and received the Animal Hospice Advocate Certificate from the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAPC). She serves on the board of the Association of Professional Humane Educators and is also a Level II Reiki Practitioner.
Emily has also volunteered in human hospice care, wildlife rehabilitation and has demonstrated a love of all animals and for others. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys being in nature, singing in Carolina Voices, traveling with her husband, reading, and spending time with her two dogs and cat.
